Rounton Farm is pleased to offer the 2024 Summer Camp season!
This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to nurture their love for learning while having fun outside! We have created camps that ooze excitement as well as support your child in their educational adventure. Browse the list of classes with your child and find one (or more!) that are right for both of you; before/after/lunchtime care options are also available to help you plan a complete camp day for your child.
Rounton Farm Summer Camp registration will begin at 9AM on January 6th, 2024!
We will continue to closely monitor the latest information and statistics regarding Covid 19 in our area. We will keep campers and their families informed if any scheduling changes arise.
Camp spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Camper Registration must be completed AND Camp fees must be paid in full at time of registration.
PLEASE NOTE: If a family decides to cancel their child’s enrollment more than 60 days before the first day of camp, all paid camp fees will be refunded. If a family decides to cancel their child’s enrollment 59-30 days before the first day of camp, half of the paid camp fees will be refunded. If a family decides to cancel their child’s enrollment 29 or fewer days before the first day of camp, there will be no refund.

Camps for 3 and 4 year olds
We take good care of your 3 and/or 4 year old as they participate in, for some, their first camp experience! We will be exploring the farm, playing games, enjoying a snack and getting creative. All this while working to master fine and gross motor skills as well as nurturing friendships with each other, our furry/feathery friends and the earth!
Fun on the Farm - SOLD OUT!
Join us for a week of hands on learning as we dive into farm life…animals, plants, farm equipment and more. Campers will learn about the farming through crafts, books, games and other activities. In addition, campers will fine tune their gross motor skills and strengthen friendships with each other!

Our campers will explore the fun and excitement of science! They will do experiments, go on walks, experience science in nature all around them. And of course they will listen to stories about science, make crafts that reinforce what they are learning and play to their hearts content.

In a Galaxy Far, Far Away - SOLD OUT!
Can a Star Wars fan ever get enough Star Wars in their life? Probably not, and that’s why this camp is a favorite every single year! Join Rob & Crew and bring your light saber, costumes and your imagination and we will create a new version of exciting galactic adventures! Campers will transform into Chewbacca, Rey, Boba Fett, Yoda, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren and other favorite characters, recreate famous scenes, dream up new ones and film them all. By week's end, campers will go home with their very own movie filled with creativity — and lots of fun memories.

Crafty Shenanigans - SOLD OUT!
Join OES teacher Erin Seal to explore the magic of arts and crafts! Campers will put their artistic skills to the test…mimic some famous artists, go for some ‘Pinterest” wins, and get lost in their own ideas. Bead it, weave it, glue it, melt it! You name it, we will try it. We will learn several new crafts each day, and take a group vote on a new craft that the crafters would like to try. Get ready to take home lots of masterpieces by week's end! We will paint, braid, weave, glue, draw…whatever it takes to make fairy gardens, create friendship bracelets & necklace paper chains, compose a nature collage and much more!

Lego Masters - SOLD OUT!
Making its debut at Rounton Farm Summer Camp is Lego Masters! If you enjoy all things Lego, this camp is for you! Campers will be making their favorite Lego creations and creating new ones. There will be construction challenges, team building activities as well as letting your imagination lead you when it comes to dreaming up your own creation.

Afternoon
Nature Explorers - 2 spots open
Campers will follow Rob as they explore the nearby woods, creeks, water troughs and meadows, play games and challenge themselves! Get ready for taking hikes, rolling through amazing obstacle courses, practicing your aim using a giant sling shot, finding newts in the back pond and working on your communication skills with different group problem-solving activities. We will also learn how to build a fire, filter natural spring water, cook over an open fire and with a camping stove, pack a backpack full of supplies so your pack is light and comfortable, and tie your shoes so you won’t get blisters on a long hike!

Are you ready to get soaked and cool off with water games and fun?! Our Counselors are ready to drench you with lots of fun for a week of wet science experiments, water balloon sling shots, water gun challenges, and other really cool activities!

Culinary Kids - 6 spots open
Back by popular demand, Culinary Kids is a crowd pleaser! If you enjoy cooking and eating what you create, this camp is for you. Campers will be learning about the importance of measuring correctly as well as letting your imagination lead you when it comes to making your taste buds happy. Campers will be making several ready to eat items as well as some that involve cooking and baking.

Silly Science - SOLD OUT!
Calling all scientists! Silly Science is another camp favorite that is action packed. Get ready to explore new concepts and test everything you know! Campers will be all hands on as they learn about different science concepts that challenge their thinking, amaze their own minds with their new knowledge, explore concepts of air pressure, surface tension and chemical reactions and much, much more!

Wide World of Sports - 4 spots open
Sports fanatics: this is the camp for you! Our athletic Counselors will be helping you become a future all-star while building a variety of skills, learning the importance of conditioning and practicing the art of sportsmanship. Counselors will introduce football, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball and others. Gear up and get ready!

Painter’s Paradise - SOLD OUT!
In this artsy camp class we will paint to our heart’s content. We will paint on paper, wood, shirts, canvas and even on cement. Campers will experience many varieties of paint and brushes to learn how the famous painters have used them to create masterpieces throughout time.

Carpentry Camp- SOLD OUT!
Calling all carpenters! This camp will take your wood working skills to the next level by learning to use basic carpentry tools to create bird houses, pencil boxes, flower box and more. Learn from expert carpenters as we saw, sand, drill, and hammer our projects into reality.

Back by very popular demand! Using our imaginative minds and some amazing fibers, every camper will create a new hand crafted masterpiece each day to take home and enjoy. We will knit, sew, braid and weave our way through lots of projects like scarves, plush toys, pillows, friendship bracelets, placemats and so much more.
